Sansa’s brother or sister, Arya is posing an orphan youngster along with attempting to return to Winterfell. I liked this book better than the first in the series. Considering that Sansa’s traitor papa is dead, Joffrey along with his mama refuse to allow her go home. Martin amply fulfills the first volumes promise and continues what seems destined to be one of the best fantasy. A character you think is "good" ends up being horrible and the other way around. Martin loves killing off people we end up liking and then I'm also really surprised by the actions of his other characters. The story in this installment is fantastic, shocking, violent (there's a huge battle), and really sad at times. The chapters are indeed sequential, and while the price is steep compared to an actual book, you pay roughly $25.00 for an audiobook that's about 10-15 hours long, so in the larger scheme of things, it's really not that bad if you're into audiobooks.
